Yesterday, a group of 12 nations, including the United States, Britain, and Japan, released a joint statement warning the Houthi rebels of unknown repercussions if they didn't stop their attacks. However, the rebel group launched a sea drone loaded with explosives to attack ships in the Red Sea just hours after the US and its allies issued their final warning. The Houthi movement, officially known as Ansar Allah, is a Shia Islamist political and military organization that originated in Yemen in the 1990s.
