The International Olympic Committee (IOC) issued an apology letter to Azerbaijan regarding the biased remarks made by the "France 2" TV channel during the introduction of Armenia’s Olympic team at the event’s opening ceremony. While the apology is a move in the right direction, France 2 being a state television, places the host of the Olympic Games, namely France, at fault for broadcasting such undue bias, making Azerbaijan expect an official apology from the government of France as well.
