Aid Ships Sail to Gaza

The first maritime trip to the war-torn Gaza strip has two ships carrying humanitarian aid to the starving population under siege. The vessels have departed from the port city of Larnaca in Cyprus and are expected to reach the region in about 60 hours. World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals in the aftermath of natural disasters, is handling the shipment and will be distributing 200 tons of food, which is equivalent to roughly 500,000 meals.
