At least 36 members of a single family, have been killed in an Israeli strike on northern Gaza. The attack targeted a building that housed displaced Palestinians in the Jabalia refugee camp which has been desolate for about a year. Most of the victims were women and children. Many are still trapped under the debris.

Russia and Ukraine have intensified drone attacks against each other, sending out unprecedented numbers of unmanned aerial vehicles. Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Russia launched 145 drones overnight and appealed to Kyiv's Western allies for more help. Russian air defense said it had shot down 70 Ukrainian drones, with nearly half of them shot down over Moscow.
