Three people were killed in another missile attack, this time in the town of Lyptsi in northern Kharkiv, suffering from relentless Russian bombardment that targets Ukraine's energy infrastructure with missile and kamikaze drone strikes. The attacks have led to substantial damage, with up to 80% of the country's thermoelectric power plants and half of its hydro stations being destroyed or rendered inoperable. While air raid sirens and explosions are frequently heard in Kharkiv city, Russia refers to the attacks as retaliation to Ukrainian operations in Russia, which have targeted oil refineries situated deep inside its territory.
